Missing Gray Cat in Anthem/North Broomfield

Description
Our family cat, Sugar, has been getting out of the house a bit more than we'd like lately and now she is missing. She's a grayish American short-hair tabby cat with black/dark tiger stripe markings and a white belly and paws. She is a shorter cat but has very distinct eyes that look like she is wearing black eyeliner. Although we originally found her as a stray in Texas right before we moved back to Colorado, we try to keep her inside as best we can. If she does get out, we definitely try to keep an eye on her get her in before it gets dark. When she does go outside, she seems pretty cautious and usually doesn't go far that we know of. Up to this point, she always returns in time for her next meal at night or first thing in the morning. We are getting concerned since we haven't seen her since yesterday evening when our son let her out after dinner. We are currently dog-sitting for my Mother-in-Law right now and we do know that Sugar doesn't know or put up with this dog as well as she does our dog so not sure if she is avoiding the extra stress right now or if she just started exploring a little further away than usual and lost her way. There was also a lot of contractor activity around here over the past day or so with many loud noises including, jackhammers, a mulch truck, landscaping, etc. so could see her hiding away somewhere. Hoping someone on here has seen her and might let us know if/when she has been spotted. We do now have her litter box and some water out on the back patio as I've seen some suggestions about doing that. We have been around the neighborhood walking a bit with treats and calling for her last night and this morning. She does have a chip registered with HomeAgain (985141001875962) that we have registered with our current info in case someone does find her and get her to a vet or shelter. Sugar is a very friendly and people-loving cat who really isn't shy about coming up and getting attention and being pet by about anyone. Very vocal too. She will let you know with a variety of high pitch meows and yowls exactly how she if feeling. I could see her being lured in by someone who saw her especially being hungry. We live on the corner of Jones Mountain Way and Pacific Peak with no fence to give you an idea of where her home base is located. A neighbor on Nextdoor did say they saw her around 10 p.m. Wednesday night (09/15/21) around the area of Mount Powell and Ute Peak Way near the Parkside Community Center in Anthem Highlands/North Broomfield. Attached is a recent photo that might help you identify her. Thank you in advance for any help, assistance or advice. We have two heartbroken boys right now. You can text me right away with any info at . Best, Mark
