Found Black Male Cat needs home

Description

A couple of months ago a beautiful black male kitty with soft shiny fur, showed up at our house. He had a collar on so I posted his picture in a local Facebook group, looking for his owner. A family member of the owner picked the cat up and took him to his owner but the cat was back at our house, begging to come in, within 24 hours. I have spoken with the family member and they are unable to take him. We took him to the vet for a check-up, rabies shot etc. He got a clean bill of health from the vet. He is 2 years old. He is the sweetest, cuddliest kitty and has not wanted to go outside at all since we brought him in. He desperately wants to be an inside kitty. Unfortunately, he and our male inside kitty are not getting along at all. Our male kitty is only 7 pounds and is losing his fur from stress. We hoped that over time things would settle with them and they would end up friends but it isn't happening and our cat being stressed is upsetting our son very much. We're hoping to find a new family for our found kitty. He's such a sweet boy (except towards our male cat.) He might be ok with another cat if that cat wasn't stressed having another cat around. The previous owner's sister said his previous home had other cats and dogs. Even when he first showed up at our house hungry, he choose cuddles and pets over food. He has a wonderful purr and is very chatty with lots of sweet meows. I'm not sure if I have ever had a kitty who was as expressive with his meows and I have had kitties, including Siamese who are notoriously chatty, all my life. If you think he'd be a good fit for your family, please contact me.
