Assist in the daily operations of the pantry ( 8 AM TO 5 PM) Essential Functions 1. Responsible for assisting food pantry manager and the assistant manager with daily food pantry duties. 2. Register and intake clients that come through for food pantry services in the client database. 3. Input food poundage in the database system 5. Communicate information about product availability. 6. Perform general stocking duties on a daily basis including storing and stocking products in/on bins, pallets, shelves, racks, and refrigerators 7. Move, handle, and transport finished products, material, or supplies to other departments or areas by utilizing hand jacks, lift carts, and other means of transportation 8. Load, unload, and move heavy, bulky products 9. Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards (including offices, breakroom and shelves), and dispose of trash
