(see image attached of our Doringer 350) - In your current job today, do you mainly weld parts given to you or do you fabricate/build custom work?? We are seeking a well rounded fabricator/welder with 10yrs experience to join our team - Best candidate: currently employed looking to move up in pay or change pace. One that cuts own material to fabricate and build custom from start to finish - We want to avoid: your basic welder that simply welds given parts. or person that works in a non relevant area of welding This is a great opportunity to grow with us and/or expand your skill set while working on one-of-a-kind projects you can be proud of. Pay: $29 to start (eligible for raise and fringe benefits after 3 months) Fulltime: 40hrs M-F Who we are? A farmhouse style custom furniture builder. We build unique custom furniture for residential and some commercial clients. We mainly work with Steel, Angle Iron, Square Tube and Hot rolled Sheet Metal MIG/TIG welding Job Description: Serious confidence and experience in MIG/TIG welding to custom build using cold saw cutting, metal working tools, hand held plasma, grinding, etc. Qualifications: Minimum 10 years of professional experience in metal fabrication and welding Must have a valid drivers license, own reliable transportation, responsible and punctual. Must be quick and efficient and still maintain detail work. Avoid reworking mistakes. Requirements: Pride in a finished product. The ideal candidate should be able to create own cut list, cut own material and build the furniture pieces from start to completion. Creativity and “thinking outside the box” are strongly encouraged. Solid work ethic, calm demeanor, positive attitude, extreme attention to detail, advanced mathematical skills. Must be able to work closely with the owner/designer. Must take direction well. Must be physically able to: Stand, sit, stoop, kneel, and bend for long periods of time. Operate various equipment and machinery such as: grinders, welders, saws, etc. Lift objects up to 75+ pounds.
