Home Needed for "Working" Barn Cats

One Love Animal Rescue is looking for a good and responsible home to take in a few "working" cats. These young cats are healthy and active but very fearful of humans and despite our fosters best socialization attempts, we do not believe they will be happy in a traditional indoor cat home and think they would do best in a responsible outdoor home where they can be "mousers" or "barn cats". They are not aggressive, just very shy and fearful of humans. They would be best suited in a situation where they can have someone to provide shelter and food and in return they will "work" as a pest control/pest deterrent in someone's home, barn, shed, yard, business, etc. All cats participating in the working cat program are vaccinated, spayed or neutered, and microchipped before going to a new home. The adoption guidelines are the same for all One Love Animal Rescue cats, except they are allowed to be outdoors and adoption fees are waived. Working cats still require care and attention like any other pet. It is expected that any adopter of a working cat be able to provide daily food/water and shelter for their working cat and basic medical care, as necessary. They must have a shelter to sleep in, away from the elements and call home.
