Construction Assistant/Foreman

We are a smaller licensed general contractor in search of a Foreman. The person we seek must be a jack of all trades! Our company rehabs apartments, mobile homes and performs required maintenance on our properties. Benefits include medical and paid time off. If you can do/or are willing to learn what is listed below, then we want to talk to you! · Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and other construction trades · Oversite of all maintenance requests for all properties (3) · Scheduling/assigning appropriate personnel to jobs · Periodic checks on the crew to ensure work is being completed in a timely manner · Periodic inspection of all rental units · Learn to anticipate and acquire materials needed for jobs (on-site company vehicle provided) · Follow up with vendors on orders · Coordinate/schedule dates/times with residents for work to be performed · Be mindful of factors that can interfere with work that is to be performed But wait, there’s more! · Have good communication and organization skills · Computer literate · Valid driver’s license / reliable transportation · Must be able to motivate, provide leadership and create a team environment If this sounds like a job for you, please send your resume and salary requirements.
