General Maintenance Technician - Restaurant Group

The General Maintenance Technician will perform general maintenance and repairs for assigned equipment and facilities including plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, heating and cooling, drywall repair, tile, painting and other building systems. Duties & Responsibilities: -Performs general repairs that do not require a specialized technician. Examples may include repairing drywall, painting, plumbing, tile, framing, and repairing other building fixtures. -Troubleshoots issues to determine necessary repairs. -Inspects and identifies facilities in need of repair. -Plans and performs repair work as needed. -Orders supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance. -Travels to following CA facility locations: Pasadena, Claremont, Porter Ranch. Required Skills/Physical Requirements: -Knowledge of general carpentry and repair. -A minimum of 2 years’ working experience in a similar role. -Solid experience with plumbing and electrical systems. -Ability to work with hardware tools and power equipment. -Extremely organized with good communication skills. -Detail-orientated with an aptitude for problem-solving. -Punctual and reliable. -Ability to withstand prolonged periods standing and walking. -Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces. -Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time. __________________________________________ We look forward to meeting you!
