Turfmaster is seeking a to fill a full-time lawn spray technician position for our lawn division. It is a great time to join our team as opportunities like this rarely occur. Including: health insurance, dental, life insurance, AFLAC etc Description: A Spray Technician keeps our client's turf and shrubs healthy and green through the proper measurement, mixture and application of herbicides, fungicides, insecticides and fertilizers. Duties: • Properly measure and mix chemicals and fertilizers to correct specifications. • Apply liquid and granular fertilizer. • Identify and diagnose primary turf disease and insect damage. Identify common weeds. • Operate motors or machinery with spray equipment. Use a variety of vehicles for transportation over larger areas. • Keep service tools, machinery & vehicles clean & maintained. • Correctly track material usage and properly apply to job. • Attend all required field safety training and utilizing proper safety equipment. Requirements: • Will train. No experience necessary. Experienced technician will earn more • Clean driving record. • Professional appearance • Ability to lift over 50 lbs • Takes ownership of responsibilities and demonstrates pride in work. • Effective communication skills; Bilingual: Spanish is a plus.
