Fundraiser luncheon with Spike Cohen follow up with a eminent domain protest at the Russell Convalescent Home and City Counil Meeting September 23rd there will be a rally at RCH located at 407 Ferry Street, Russell, KY 41169; the purpose of the rally is to protest actions set forth by the city of Russell and Tracy Frye to close RCH via eminent domain Spike Cohen will be traveling to Russell for this event. Below is our itinerary. 12-2p: Rally kick-off & fundraiser @ Taqueria Las Lalis, 24 Russell Plaza Dr, Russell, KY 2-4p: Hot dogs, chips, and drinks @ RCH 4-6p: Protest in Downtown Russell Stations will be open for sign making, bring your kids to help with the signs and the protest! 5:30p: Live stream/podcast with 6:30p: City Council meeting. Spike will be speaking, all others who would like to speak are welcome The RCH residents are excited just to have some visitors come to their home and to help participate in the protest. I can't emphasize enough the importance of this event and the exposure needed for it. Please continue to share and support the residents of RCH. Let's show this corrupt city council and mayor the power of community coming together, that we aren't the kind of people that are scared of tyrants, and that we are the power.
