Join The Capital Market and Creative Suitland team for a fun and interactive Family Bike Safety Day on Sunday, September 26th from 12-4pm. Learn bike safety tips, get a bike tune-up, test-out our pop-up bike trail, and get a FREE BIKE HELMET! The Prince George’s County Department of Public Works & Transportation will provide information about Vision Zero, Pedestrian Safety and will give away FREE BIKE HELMETS for children and adults. District Youth Cycling will demonstrate safe riding practices, showoff professional BMX bikes, showcase bike maintenance practices and explore the legacy of African American cyclists in the United States and Abroad. BRING YOUR BIKE, SKATES, and SCOOTERS for this event. A limited amount of practice bikes will be available on site.
