Join us as we break down the flavors and history of the beers we brew and love. This month's topic: GLBC's beers of fall! The taps are on, the beer is pouring, and class is back in session! Head down to Ohio City and expand your beer knowledge at Hop College: Style Analysis. This month’s focus? GLBC's beers of fall! Join Certified Cicerone® Great Lakes Brewing Co. staff as we crack open the history of our fall favorites, and taste these beers made to match the changing leaves and chilly air. Students who enroll in Hop College: Style Analysis will head to the “classroom” where Certified Cicerone®️ Great Lakes Brewing Co. staff will help you tap into a deeper understanding of our various autumnal brews with a guided tasting complete with sensory analysis, a rundown of the history of the style, the stories behind GLBC's versions, and more during this crash course on all things hops and malt! There won’t be any textbooks, but we will have plenty of beer to help enhance your learning. We will be tasting: Oktoberfest 73 Kolsch TropiCoastal Tropical IPA Nosferatu Imperial Red IPA Each Class Admission ticket will include one 7 oz. pour of each beer, so have those taste buds ready! Students who enroll will receive a special Hop College tulip glass, pictured below. Add-on tickets are also available for an exclusive Hop College notebook and GLBC pen, pictured below the tulip glass. For the health and safety of our hard working brewery employees, proof of vaccination (final dose administered at least two weeks before class date) is required for participation in Hop College classes at the brewery. Graduate at the bottom of your glass at Hop College, where our taproom is your classroom! The Fine Print Effective September 7, 2021, proof of vaccination is required for ALL Hop College students. You will be asked to present your vaccination card upon checking in for your class. Masks are not currently required for vaccinated guests, but you are welcome to wear one throughout your class. GLBC reserves the right to refuse service to anyone who puts guests or staff at risk. Thank you for doing your part to keep our community safe and healthy.
