Join local historian Bill McEvoy for a living history walking tour of the historic Mount Auburn Cemetery. Join local historian Bill McEvoy outside on 9/18 for a living history tour of the cemetery. Go walk amongst the graves of the people who have shaped our Watertown local history in many ways, and hear about them through the eyes of an expert. This program is being held in collaboration with the Historical Society of Watertown. The Cemetery Walking Tour will leave from 64 Cottage Street. The cemetery gates are at the end of Cottage St., and will be open to receive tour guests at 10 AM. The Watertown Free Public Library extends beyond its walls to connect people to ideas, information, education, creative opportunities, and to each other. While preserving the rich history of Watertown, the Watertown Free Public Library embraces the advancement of library service, inspires personal development, and promotes community. The library provides free recreation, entertainment, and enrichment. It welcomes and serves everyone.
