My name is Samantha and I am a Pilates Instructor and Certified Personal Trainer looking for new clients in the area. I am offering a special for private training sessions starting at $.50 per minute in Bushwick, the nearby area, or even in-home! Here's A Little About Me: Growing up as a dancer in New York City, Samantha has always loved movement in relation to exercise and performance art. That passion drove her to further understand her craft not only on an artistic level, but on a scientific one. Shortly after attending The Pennsylvania State University, in 2010, as a proficient Kinesiologist, she certified in IM=X Pilates, a cross-conditioning system that includes pilates moves but adds strength-training and cardio elements for a more athletically-oriented workout. She first implemented her fitness studies as a Physical Therapy aide and Pilates therapist for Paramus Medical and Sports Rehabilitation Center in Paramus, NJ. Since then, Samantha has taught private, semi-private, and group mat/reformer Pilates sessions in clinical and studio settings in the New York metropolitan area. In December 2017, she decided to move to Southern California and eventually found Women’s Advantage Men’s Optimal Health Physical Therapy, where she grew a deep interest for pelvic floor specialized PT and postpartum exercise. “I feel this newfound responsibility to empower others through mindful movement and body awareness! With specific attention to posture, breath, alignment, form and focus, your stability will sky rocket! This is also good for any corrective purposes - correct muscle imbalances and conditions (e.g. diastasis recti, scoliosis), strengthen your pelvic floor (i.e. for incontinence and sexual function), and alleviate pains (like sciatica)!
