For writers of every level, flash fiction, defined as any story of six to 1,000 words, is the perfect medium to experiment, push boundaries, leap genre lines, and generally reinvent the way you perceive your world. Award-winning flash fiction writer and novelist Jan Alexander will lead you through a series of flash fiction exercises using prompts from dreams, news, artwork, quotes, or even what you had for breakfast, with a chance to share your work and receive feedback.
