Join the City's Office of Economic Opportunity as we kick off the 37th annual Minority Enterprise Development (MED) Week in Philadelphia! Every year, MED Week highlights minority businesses and the resources that help them grow. Throughout the week, organizations from across the region will host events focused around this year’s theme, “Unmute Your Opportunities.” At the kick-off event, OEO will share information about the more than two dozen events being held by partner organizations during the week. We'll also recognize several people and businesses that have had an impact over the past year. MASKS ARE REQUIRED. The Office of Economic Opportunity (OEO) ensures that the City is working with diverse businesses to fulfill its needs for goods and services. Each year, the City aims to reach 35 percent participation from minority, women, and disabled-owned enterprises (M/W/DSBEs) on its contracts.
