'Bathe' in the forest atmosphere using your senses, mindfulness and short guided meditations Led by Educator Lauren Lynch. From the Japanese 'shinrin-yoku', the practice of forest bathing means to immerse oneself in the forest and soak in the atmosphere through the senses. Today's walk will focus on connecting to nature through mindfulness, as we explore the senses and the present moment through short, guided, meditations in the forest. Forest bathing has been shown to help decrease stress levels and anxiety, and to improve the immune system and symptoms of depression, to name a few benefits. Come explore a new way of walking through the forest!” Open to ages 8 to seniors. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Non-refundable; In case of rain, you will be notified and the program will be rescheduled.Outdoor program; please dress accordinglyMasks are optional outdoors, but are required when using the indoor restrooms.No dogs please.Parking is available in the outer lot on Snake Den Rd, or you may drive in through the gate and park near the main brick building.
