Our tight, three piece cover band is looking to add a female vocalist to front the band and provide backup vocals as well. All three of us are seasoned musicians who have played in cover bands before. Our guitarist does a good job of singing leads, but we want to do more female fronted bands music and enrich our harmonies. The ideal person should be comfortable engaging audiences and have a bit of swagger! We are probably best described as a semi pro band, in that our playing is pro level, but we play for fun. We will do both paying and non-paying gigs. The songs are classic and modern rock hits that are mostly danceable. We also do a fair amount of blues and will have music that can be played at dinner shows, ie, more low volume, easy listening as well as more rocking numbers for clubs and bars. Our practices are fun and laid back. We rehearse on Monday nights in Charlestown in a fully equipped studio with PA included.
