Shajuti Hossain joined Public Advocates in September 2018 as a fellow on the Metropolitan Equity Team. She is from North Carolina and of Bangladeshi heritage. Her passion for social justice stems from her personal experiences and her desire to learn from marginalized voices. At Public Advocates, she works on housing policy. In 2015, Shajuti graduated from Duke University with a double major in Economics and Public Policy. In 2018, Shajuti received her J.D. from Duke University School of Law.
