What will it take to live, work and play on the Moon?
Imagine what it will be like to live and work (and play!) on the Moon in the not-too-distant future. Participants will create and Moon base plans — and then perform experiments that simulate systems needed to keep astronauts (and space tourists!) alive and exploring.
Join science facilitators from the Nevada Space Center for an adventurous exploration of the Moon, our sister satellite.
Tickets are required for all participants, students and guardians, and participants under 13 must be accompanied by at least one guardian per six students. Activities are targeted for 3rd through 6th grade students but fun for the whole family! Masks required.
Program activities start at 9:30 a.m. and do not repeat. After activities, visit the rest of the museum at your own pace!
Experience the past, present and future of Space Exploration! Our goal is to engage, educate and employ individuals in aerospace adventures and Nevada's new innovation economy. Join us at our developing facility within the beautiful National Automobile Museum in Reno, Nevada. And reach for the stars!
