Job Brief: The Warehouse Associate will maintain Luminalt’s warehouse, keep the shelves organized and stocked, pull materials for upcoming projects, and generally keep our installation teams stocked with everything they need. Primary functions of the job: Warehouse organization. Assure that our warehouse is stocked, organized, and ready for all projects in queue. ---Organize materials, shelving, shop space, deliver trash to landfill, etc, as needed to keep shop organized and clean Pull and prepare materials for upcoming projects by reviewing project-specific Bill Of Materials (BOM) Keep track of warehouse inventory and assure that we have parts that we need in the warehouse Make purchases including electrical, general construction, safety equipment, and other supplies required to keep our warehouse stocked and materials ready for upcoming projects Receive incoming deliveries. Review for correct quantity, part numbers, and damage. Stock all items in shop manually or with forklift Complete paperwork and help develop processes related to keeping materials and inventory in order Help crew members load materials for each project Deliver materials including panels and other small parts directly to jobsite. Strategize on most efficient way(s) get equipment to job sites Maintain inventory counts of major components including modules, inverters, racking, wiring, and balance of system components Vehicle maintenance. Maintain vehicle maintenance binder for each vehicle and list of work needed on each vehicle. Trigger regular vehicle maintenance Move vehicles for street cleaning, help delegate vehicle use to crew members, make sure vehicles are parked in shop or securely on the street Obtain permits for work and fill associated paperwork Assist in ladder work for engineering or inspection teams – deliver ladder(s) and help setup ladder(s) for tall roofs as needed Assist in pre-fabricating job materials including cutting rails, roof blocks, etc Successful candidates must meet the following Requirements: Our insurance requires the driver to be 23 years of age and have minimum 3 years driving experience. Valid CA driver’s license with clean driving record. Able to drive a forklift is a plus. We will train the right candidate Able to lift 50 lbs on a regular basis Basic computer skills Strong interest in working in the solar industry in San Francisco Excellent attention to detail Excellent organizational and multitasking skills Basic arithmetic math skills Exceptional time management skills including a sense of urgency Self directed, independent, and solution oriented Value trust and honesty Value outstanding customer service Value teamwork and continuous improvement Be hard working and dependable English proficient
