Join Macaroni Kid for a fun, stress-free evening making new mom friends Let’s face it, as busy moms, it’s hard to make new friends. Our lives revolve around our children and often our spouses, leaving little time for ourselves and our needs. Some of us are new to the area, and the recent pandemic hasn't allowed as much social time as normal. We all know that in order to best care for our loved ones, we have to take care of ourselves, but life often gets in the way of that, including fostering friendships with other moms. Wouldn’t it be nice to meet some other moms who might bring something new to your life? Well, you’re in luck. local women-owned businesses Macaroni Kid Fayetteville and Art & Soul Studios NWA have partnered to help moms meet other moms with a fun, unique evening out. You’ll have the chance to meet multiple women in a short amount of time, and, based on responses to the hosts’ questions, you just might find the friend you never knew you were missing! A little shy? No worries. This is intended to be a stress-free, fun event. Art & Soul Studios will lead us in a painting project on canvas (NO ART EXPERIENCE REQUIRED) and then, for about 40 minutes, you will have the chance to chat with other moms one-on-one through a "speed dating-like" round. We will provide conversation starters at each station! Tickets are $35 and include heavy appetizers, gift bags (while supplies last), fountain drinks and wine. COVID RESTRICTIONS: due to the rising # of cases of Covid in our area, we ask that all unvaccinated attendees wear a mask. If you show any signs of illness of any kind prior to this event, please notify the organizer for a full refund on your ticket or to transfer your ticket to another mom.
