Requirements: • Time management and organizational skills; • Excellent communication skills including active listening. • Service-oriented and able to resolve customer grievances. • Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software. • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest and percentages • Graduation from high school or GED equivalent with specialized course work in general office practices such as typing, filing, accounting and bookkeeping preferred. • Flexible schedule/occasional overtime required to complete projects • Ability to work on your feet and carry loads up to 75 pounds • Able to complete assigned tasks with urgency and accuracy • Team player – vital to maintaining an organized warehouse. • Able to complete assigned tasks and work independently and safely Responsibilities: • Promptly answer customer phone calls and in-person customer inquiries regarding new orders, changes to existing orders and questions regarding old orders; all in-person and phone inquiries must be answered with a minimum wait time; handling high volume customer inquiries via phone, fax and email; • Become familiar with and gain knowledge in the use of the Alert Easy Pro software package to manage customer orders; • Read, study and absorb any training and written materials provided by managers to accelerate and improve the completion of one’s duties and the likelihood of the success of customers’ events; • Be customer-focused. Good communication, listening, detail-oriented, taking notes; understanding what each customer’s needs are; • Learn and become familiar with company inventory; • Follow company procedures for all processes including, but not limited to, opening and closing will-call contracts, receiving and dispersing equipment, and sub rentals when necessary; • Suggest substitutions when requested inventory is not available for customer events; • Actively suggest additional equipment for customer events based upon event knowledge and training; • Look for opportunity to up sell; learn the ability to persuade the customer to rent upgraded equipment by making suggestions and presentation; • Loading/Unloading Trucks • Warehouse organization/inventory Part-time: Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays 9:30am-3:30pm
