Straight Edge Staffing has teamed up with a local Sonoma County Custom Cabinet Shop and we are looking for a highly motivated Cabinet Shop Foreman. California Driver's License 3 -5 years’ experience in Custom Cabinetry Shop or equivalent Established, local custom cabinet shop is currently seeking an experienced Shop Foreman. Our shop specializes in the manufacturing of Architectural Millwork/Casework and other specialty interior items. Looking for a highly motivated individual to: -Manage 1-2 Employees -Oversee production and maintain product quality. -Manage production to maintain a tight delivery schedule. -Enforce safety regulations, rules, and working conditions. -Advise and support shop colleagues' construction and production methods. Foreman will also be responsible for completing or assisting in production work as needed when the delivery schedule deems it necessary. Preferred Experience/Qualifications: - Be organized and punctual. - 3-5 years of Woodworking SHOP experience. - knowledge of production cabinet assembly methods, along with custom methods. - Must be able to read and build from shop prints. Proficient in reading shop drawings - Be self-motivated and quality-driven. - Ability to effectively problem-solve. Competitive Salary, Contingent upon experience! Family work atmosphere. Job Type: Full-time Schedule: Day shift Monday to Friday Experience: Cabinet Shop: 3-5 years (Preferred) License/Certification: Driver's License Work Location: One location Job Responsibilities: Assemble cabinet shelves, cases and doors Sort and prioritize parts or jobs based on production calendar Assist in shop related tasks regarding maintenance and cleaning Assist other shop departments as necessary Effectively able to communicate with shop, installation, and engineering co-workers Passion for performing quality and detail-oriented work
