Under direction, responsible for washing construction equipment, and power washing equipment. To be successful, you should be service-minded, customer-focused and have good attention to detail. QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS 1. High school diploma or GED 3. Comfortable working in a fast paced, high pressure environment YEARS AND RELATED-TYPE EXPERIENCE 1. Prior years’ experience in or around the construction field preferred 2. Prior years’ experience performing duties equivalent PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS 1. Activities require handling and grasping with the hands when performing repairs or maintenance of equipment by utilizing hand tools, power tools, air tools, nuts, bolts, electronic controls and other small parts 2. Occasional use of foot/feet to operate foot pedal on equipment to test operation 3. Frequent lifting up to 25 lbs. 4. Exposure to loud noise, dust, gas or fumes 5. Work in unprotected weather elements 6. Ability to wear hearing and eye protection as required 7. Ability to bend an kneel for prolonged periods of time 8. Ability to stand on concrete and uneven surfaces for at least four hours per day 9. Ability to climb over and into heavy equipment several times per day DUTIES 1. Cleaning, include power washing, of returned rental equipment 2. Cleaning and detailing of machines 3. Cleaning and detailing cabs 4. Housekeeping and organization of wash area 5. Properly maintain pressure washer, water filtration system; including pressure water guns, hoses, filters and storage tanks 6. Any other duties as assigned by the Service or General Manager 7. Other duties as requested or required. PREFERRED SKILLS 1. Ability to follow directions 2. Experience in the equipment rental or construction industry and/or related field preferred 3. Positive attitude 4. Excellent verbal communication 5. An ability to function well as part of a team 6. Diligent attention to safety
