I'm in search of a free laptop computer. In recent months I have become homeless. I am a type 1 diabetic and this has complicated my daily life since being diagnosed at a late age of 27 years old, usually this disease is diagnosed as a adolescent. Since COVID-19, the beginning of it, a series of events has further more complicated my health, and housing. I was evicted while I was in the hospital with keto acidosis and EVERYTHING of mine was taken and thrown away before I was discharged from the hospital. This includes my computer that I used for absolutely everything, even earning an income. I live outside and am trying to get my life back together again. Even asking for help if it can be done from everyone in the community of Benton harbor, this has truly been a blessing so thank everyone from the bottom of my heart. If anyone has a computer that isn't being used, if you could consider parting with it for me, or can give me a small price it would be greatly appreciated. PS some may have seen me with a homeless sign with my fiance near the old Walgreens on Napier and by the Arby's and new Walgreens, this is where everyone has been so wonderful to us and I'm grateful to be apart of this community. When I am back on my feet again and healthy, I will find ways to give back the way people have helped me, God Bless everybody!
