We love this time of year! It's time for our ARToberfest event to support local artists, but also to enjoy Oktoberfest in style. Historically, the beers served at Oktoberfest can only come from the large breweries inside Munich's city limits including Augustinerbräu Münche (Augustiner), Hacker-Pschorr, Hofbräu, Löwenbräu, Paulaner, and Spaten-Franziskaner-Bräu (Spaten). ... Today, festbier is the official style of all beers at Oktoberfest. We have four traditional Oktoberfest beers, one local Rocktoberfest beer, our tropical Marzen and a surprise taster (think Pumpkins) to lay out along side your choice of our house made beer cheese and locally made spent grain pretzel or a bratwurst plate to enjoy. You will also receive a One Liter Stein and One Liter Beer to take home!! Our friend Molly will be going over the history of Oktoberfest and the different styles of beer while you enjoy both the food and the beers. Grab your lederhosen and dirndls and come join us for a night of celebration and history in Historic St Elmo! The Tap House, located in historic St. Elmo, is serving Chattanooga a constantly rotating lineup of 30 taps consisting of quality craft beers, ciders, sours, gluten free options, and Kombucha. Serving a light-fare menu perfect for enjoying with a pint including sandwiches and apps such as hummus, pimento cheese, cheese plates, and chips & salsa. Hosting trivia nights on Wednesday and free live music on rotating Friday and Saturday nights. Enjoy a pint on the outdoor dog-friendly covered porch or a game on the couches with the kids.
