BEVERLY, MA — Small businesses in Beverly that missed out on previous Microenterprise grants — or received less than the $25,000 maximum — are once again invited to apply for funding after the city said it received additional funding for the program. The city said 20 businesses received grants between $5,000 and $25,000 before the initial $280,500 allotment from June 2020 was depleted. But with a reinfusion of funds within the consortium, funding opportunities are back open for the city's smallest businesses. Businesses that have received grants of less than $25,000 are eligible to re-apply for an amount up to the $25,000 between the two grants. Businesses that have yet to receive any funding can apply for up to $25,000 in this round of grants. Applications for the grants can be found here. Did you find this article useful?
