Both South Burlington High School and neighboring Tuttle Middle School went into lockdown after a student called their parent about the threats who then notified the police. No weapon was found and the students involved are being interviewed. (WCAX) A long-awaited assessment of the Burlington Police Department finds serious deficiencies in the force. The report suggests downsizing the number of officers to between 76 and 83. The document is not finalized and will be released to the public at a later date.
