ROMEOVILLE, IL — The following information is from the Romeoville Police Department. An arrest or charge is not an indication of guilt. Aug. 26 Eddy Hernandez-Ventura, 28, of Chicago, was charged with DUI at 6:21 p.m. in the 1300 block of Joliet Road. Sept. 3 Russell Engler, 32, of Romeoville, was charged with DUI and failure to signal when required at 11:41 p.m. at Dalhart and Alexander Circle. Sept. 4 Jacob Giovannoni, 25, of Romeoville, was charged with criminal defacement of property and criminal trespass at 3:01 a.m. in the 0-100 block of Montrose. Sept. 6 Isaiah Martinez, 22, of Romeoville, was charged with disorderly conduct and resisting/obstructing a peace officer at 6:17 p.m. in the 200 block of Murphy Drive. Sept. 7 Bendicto Maldonado III, 28, of Darien, was charged with failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, leaving the scene of an accident, failure to give aid or information, failure to report accident to police and driving while license suspended at 6:33 a.m. at Weber and Windham Parkway. Sept. 12 Jorge Santoyo, 45, of Plainfield, was charged with DUI, driving while license revoked, no insurance and illegal transportation of alcohol at 9:44 p.m. in the 1300 block of Normantown. Sept. 13 William Wroblewski, 48, of Romeoville, was charged with domestic battery at 6:41 p.m. in the 0-100 block of Kentland Court.
