$1000 SIGNING BONUS IF YOU START 4 DAYS/WEEK BY OCTOBER 1ST, 2021! Generation Dog's Rub-a-Dub-Dog Bathhouse and Spa seeks one more EXPERIENCED groomer to join our team. We are not able to provide on the job training. Our salon has been in operation for 15 years, we stay busy year round and we still get new client calls DAILY. We currently have stopped accepting new clients due to our capacity. We have a wait list of clients waiting to get in but need YOU to be able to make that happen! Our pricing reflects the value of our appointment only, cage-free approach and the caliber of grooming our team is able to provide. You will likely make more here than at any other grooming salon in town because in addition to commission, our clients are incredibly generous with tips, which are passed through at 100% to the groomer. Our full time groomers gross between $2000 - $2500 bi-weekly before taxes - more during peak holiday times. The positions we are currently seeking to fill will be employee (W2 - not 1099), commission-based hires. We are open Monday through Saturday therefore priority will be given to those who have a flexible schedule and are able to work any day throughout our work week - including Saturday - but please don't hesitate to apply if you have scheduling conflicts that need consideration. We are open to part-time as well for the right candidate. Most of our groomers prefer to make the full 50% commission and secure their own individual health insurance, which is typically lower in price than our group plan, but we DO have a Group Plan available for those who need to participate. It is top of the line coverage therefore the employer portion of the coverage is costly and will be reflected in the commission rate. Do not let concern over this benefit prevent you from applying if you are looking to make a change from a corporate environment. The ideal candidate will not only be an excellent groomer, but will love dogs! He or she will also be self-managed, reliable, trustworthy, drug-free and non-smoking and able to work well with our current team. You need to have your own transportation, a professional appearance and demeanor and be able to communicate well with all clients - human and canine - and make both feel comfortable. Everyone here gets along well, helps each other, laughs a lot and works as a team. We intend for it to stay that way so will wait until we find the right hire to fill the position. We are a smoke free salon - including at lunch - so if you cannot make it an entire work day without smoking then unfortunately this is not the job for you. (VAPES ARE OK THOUGH).
