Need two very strong guys to move a heavy stove twice a week apart

Jobs

Grants Pass OR

Description

We have a cast iron wood stove with heavy body and heavy fire bricks inside. We need to disconnect it from the chimney above it, move it about 4 feet (off the carpet onto a piece of plywood on vinyl flooring nearby), then after a few days while a floor is being installed by others, to return and replace the stove, including re-attaching the chimney and both of the molded brick pads (one on the floor under the stove, and one on the wall behind the stove). This is a city approved installation. We just need to move the stove aside while workers install a new floor to replace carpet with new wood grain luxury vinyl, then replace both of the molded brick pads (one just sits on the floor, the other is attached, with 1-inch spacers, to the drywall), then replace the stove. The stove only has to be moved about 4 feet each time. But it weighs about 250 pounds, so we need two very strong men who know how to do the job with safety and without injury. We offer $75 to each man, each time you move the stove. Total of $150 to each man for coming twice to do a job which should take about 1 hour or less each time you come. We need the stove moved NOW. Friday, Saturday, or Monday, (September 17, 18 or 20) then about a weeks later to repeat the job by re-installing it as described here.
