Wright County Government: License Center Has Open Appointment Slots Next Week

Press release from the Wright County Government: September 16, 2021 For those who have been waiting to get their driver's licenses changed to REAL ID, there is an anomaly at the Wright County License Center next week that could be of assistance. Tomorrow License Center appointments will go live for the period of Sept. 27 through Oct. 8. Appointment slots typically close quickly, but, for some reason, there are plenty of open appointment slots for late next week. As of noon today, there are 27 open appointments for Wednesday Sept. 22, 35 spots for Thursday, Sept. 23 and 39 open spots available Friday, Sept. 24. Walk-ins are accepted from 8-11 a.m. and 1-3 p.m. daily, but those with appointments move to the front of the line, so if you've been putting off getting REAL ID, this could be the chance to get in and get out of the Government Center quicker than usual. For those interested, go the county website (www.co.wright.mn.us) and, on the left side of the home page, click "Make and Appointment" and it will walk you through the process.
