The St. Louis Park Fire Department invites you to volunteer with the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT). Started in 2014, the St. Louis Park CERT helps the community in many ways, from volunteering at events to helping during natural disasters to assisting police with search and rescue.
Join an informational meeting Tuesday, Sept. 21, at 6 p.m. at Fire Station 1, 3750 Wooddale Ave. S., St. Louis Park. Training starts in October, with instruction in medical triage, light search and rescue, incident command and disaster management and other topics that help CERT members ensure the City of St. Louis Park is ready and resilient.
