BY KEITH BURBANK BERKELEY, CA – A Berkeley man was in grave condition following a shooting Wednesday evening in North Oakland near Emeryville, police said Thursday. Officers responded at 6:07 p.m. to the 5700 block of Los Angeles Street after the city's gunshot detection system recorded the sounds of multiple rounds. Officers located the Berkeley man. He was suffering from a gunshot wound and was taken to Highland Hospital in grave condition, according to police.
