2 Dead In Separate Vallejo Shootings

VALLEJO, CA — Homicide investigations were underway Thursday into two fatal shootings in as many days. At 1:19 p.m. Thursday, a shooting happened in the 900 block of Admiral Callaghan Lane near Gateway Plaza. One person, an adult male, was confirmed dead, police said. Vallejo police and fire personnel found the victim, a man in his 20s, suffering from at least one gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene, and his identity was being withheld pending next of kin notification by the Solano County Coroner's Office. "The motive and circumstances involving this shooting are under investigation at this time," police said regarding Wednesday's shooting. Further information about Thursday's shooting was forthcoming, police said.
