Press release from the Cobb County Government: September 15, 2021 @CobbDOT and Cobb County's Emergency Management folks are watching the approaching remnants of Hurricane Nicholas even as the cleanup and assessment from last week's storms continues. Cobb EMA teams are still evaluating hundreds of reports of damaged homes and apartments from the flooding rains of last Tuesday night and Wednesday morning. Cobb PARKS teams are still cleaning up damage as well. Cobb EMA is working with GEMA officials who will in turn work with FEMA to see if any disaster declaration is appropriate.
