Detroit Police Need Help In Non-Fatal Shooting On City's Westside

DETROIT — The Detroit police department asked for help from the public on Wednesday to solve a non-fatal shooting on the city's westside. Police said a 42-year-old man was shot at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 4 on the 8100 block of Coyle St. He was then taken to a nearby hospital and listed in critical condition. A private security camera showed a male suspect with a short haircut firing multiple shots from a long gun before entering through the passenger door of a dark colored Chevy Malibu, police said.
