Description

AGOURA HILLS, CA —Lather on the sunscreen, because this Saturday's annual Creek Cleanup will sit under an 80 degree sun. The clean-up, hosted by the City of Agoura Hills Senator Henry Stern's Office, will hit three creeks in the area: Lindero Creek, starting at the intersection of Kanan Road and Agoura Road, Zuma Trail, starting at the Old Agoura Baseball Parking Lot, and Medea Creek, starting at the Chumash Park Ballfield. This is the city's 23rd annual Creek Cleanup. Saturday's cleanup already has 89 volunteers signed up, leaving 36 volunteer spots open. District Director for Senator Harry Stern wrote in a tweet that volunteers have already removed 30,000 pounds of trash from local waterways with similar cleanups.
