The Cornucopia Foundation is seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented office assistant to assist both in office and from home, to oversee overall management of a local environmental non-profit organization. This person would be enthusiastic about performing day-to-day administrative functions as well as providing occasional support for the Malibu Farmers' Market. The office assistant serves as the primary administrative liaison between vendors and Cornucopia.A vital function of this role includes keeping up-to-date records for required vendor documents. The office assistant should also have excellent writing skills as the job requires drafting written communication on behalf of the organization, including letters, blog posts and articles. The office assistant will conduct market research to identify new areas of growth for the organization. This position reports directly to the President and co-founder of Cornucopia Foundation and will require some executive assistant support as part of this job.Job Requirements:-ability to work 25-30 hours per week-data entry/Excel-working knowledge of all Google apps-excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral)-financial acumen-reliable transportation-light bookkeeping experience-must live within 45 min of areas abovePreferred:-social media and marketing experience-event planning/management experience-interest in non-profit managementPlease send your resumes to [email protected]
