Description
Hello,
My name is Daniel and I am seeking a property owner north of the Mystic river who might be willing to host a tiny home for a period of time.
I am a 34 year old male who works as a cabinet maker. In the past I've built trails for the National Park service and Forest Service in Alaska, Colorado, Idaho, and Western Massachusetts. I've also spent 3 years as a teacher.
I currently live in Somerville but I find it way too stressful and congested. Almost every weekend my girlfriend and I escape to Maine, Western Mass., or Vermont to take in the nature and to relax.
I'm wondering lately if I can't find that peaceful vacation feeling closer to Boston and closer to my work.
Within the next 6-8 years I plan on purchasing a home for myself, and so I am currently savings aggressively. I'm hoping to find a person or family who happens to have some extra land that they are tired of mowing that I might live on for a low monthly rental fee.
I'm seeking a space close to a natural area such as Middlesex Fells, Harold Parker State Forest, Boxford State Forest, or Wildcat Forest.
In the spring and summer I would love to plant a very small-scale garden. Just something to supplement/reduce my grocery bills.
I would plan on creating a very tiny home that is self sufficient so that no additional water, electricity, sewage, or anything else is needed. My goal is to never bother you at all. In addition, I would create a home that almost disappears into the woods so that you'd hardly even know I was there.
In terms of a monthly payment, I'd love to discuss what might be a good price for the both of us. I don't currently live with my girlfriend-- we split our time between our two apartments. So in this regard there would not be a consistent second person present, only a couple nights per week.
Boxford, Topsfield, North Reading, Middleton, Georgetown, even Lexington, Concord, or Carlisle would be splendid.
