Hello Bend kitten lovers! We need your help, to say the least. We are looking for volunteers to be short-term rescue-kitten foster parents. We have a huge feral cat overpopulation issue in eastern Oregon, and we have been working to trap and spay/neuter any kittens we can, and then facilitate the adoptions of these rescues into loving forever-homes. How can you help?! - We need volunteers to provide a secure room for these foster kittens once they are brought from eastern Oregon to Bend (or Redmond, or other local area) and to host adoptions with the remote assistance of the adoption coordinator. I have been working with her for a couple months now but am moving out of state and can no longer assist in the program. We have had so many successful adoptions out here though, that we would love to find a couple of volunteers to keep this program going.
