We are a certified contractor for large Ground Support Equipment manufacturer assisting with warranty repairs as well as decommissioning and commissioning of all related equipment. Our client base includes established relationships with major corporations, manufacturers, and renowned airlines
Qualifications:
-Must be comfortable working in a “HOME” office environment
-1-3 years administrative assistant or bookkeeping experience, preferably with industry experience (roofing or construction)
-Complete proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
-Individual must be highly organized, trustworthy and reliable
-Notary preferred
-Must be comfortable being around dogs as owner sometimes will leave his dogs in your care
Responsibilities:
-You will be 1 of 2 office assistants that will work directly with the owner (usually by phone) and through his direction to: manage the business, the office, his personal financial responsibilities and occasional travel
-Accounts Payables and Receivables
-Prepare proposals (create, email, and document receipt of signed contract)
-Manage payouts and prepare waivers when necessary
-Request and/or provide certificates of insurance when needed
-Acquire building permits and contractor licenses as needed
-Prepare for yearly insurance audits and insurance renewals
-General office duties: filing, answering phone, light cleaning, etc.
