Job Responsibilities As a Panel Saw Operator, your primary responsibility will be operating and maintaining a panel saw work center. Must be able to read, understand and manufacture from drawings Knowledge about Saw Operations. * Efficiency and organization and owning your role in the team's success is essential. Requires high school education and some experience in basic or rough carpentry. Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness, looks for ways to improve and promote quality, applies feedback to improve performance, monitors own work to ensure quality. Keeps equipment operational by completing preventative maintenance requirements, following manufacturer’s instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs. Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results. Job Requirements We are looking for Panel Operators who are reliable, safety-minded, and committed to providing exceptional customer service. You should also be highly organized with strong time-management and prioritization skills. It is also important that you display excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to establish and maintain professional and cooperative relationships with both customers and colleagues. 1 year’s experience of wood sawing machinery Forklift certified, or willing to obtain company certification Job Type: Full-time Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Schedule: 8 hour shift Day shift Monday to Friday COVID-19 considerations: We are encouraging our staff to take advantage of the fact that manufacturing employees in Washington State eligible for Covid Vaccinations.
