Description

Maintenance Supervisor at 5 story apartment building for the elderly and disabled. This position is under the direct supervision of the facility Administrator. Besides supervising two other maintenance staff, main duties include electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry, and painting work on the exterior and interior of the building as well as repairing and treating structures such as showers/tubs, sinks, appliances, doors/cabinets, walls and building exteriors. Applicants will find and work with outside vendors and be expected to schedule and complete preventative maintenance programs, make ready units for new move-ins, perform routine maintenance in occupied apartments, including work such as unclogging toilets and drains. All applicants must maintain a professional and courteous manner with residents, visitors, contractors and fellow employees. Must have the ability to follow oral and written instructions and be able to maintain effective and cooperative working relationships. All applicants must have valid driver's license, with dependable transportation. Must be dependable, reliable individual and agree to criminal background check.
