Asbestos Removal Laborer VenTERRA Environmental is an environmental engineering contractor. We provide Asbestos Removal, Lead Removal, Mold Removal and General Demolition. We specialize in serving industries that including Residential, Commercial/ Public Works and Industrial and currently service a multitude of businesses in Los Angeles County, Ventura County, Santa Barbara County, San Luis Obispo County and throughout Southern California. Our office is located in Oxnard, CA. We're growing! We are currently looking for Asbestos laborers to join our team. We love having people with 1 to 2 years of Asbestos experience but, will train the right candidates. Responsibilities Assist team members in the removal of asbestos, lead, and mold to ensure your safety and the clients safety. Show professionalism and safety while working in Houses, School and Demolition Sites. Ability to work with power tools, hand tools and machinery in a safe manner. VTE will provide training throughout the year to ensure day to day safety on job-sites. Ability to ensure that the provided Personal Protective Equipment is used every day at the job-sites properly. Ability to learn during the daily safety meetings and assessments and use what you know and learn during all day to day operations. Demonstrate extreme caution and safety. Qualifications · 1-2 years prior asbestos experience is recommended, but will train competent applicants. · Skilled in Demolition and Asbestos Removal. · Mold Remediation Technicians may also apply. · Capable of wearing Tyvek Suits, Respirators and performing physically demanding tasks day to day. · Working Safely for yourself and others on your team. Maintain a high quality standard of safety procedures to ensure the safety of yourself and your team. Manage your team every day and encourage your team to provide high quality work.
