Sage Homes is a home builder in the central Iowa area focused on building quality homes. We are currently seeking a full time Assistant for our Project Superintendents. The Assistant Superintendent reports directly to the Project Superintendent on a daily basis. They are responsible for a multitude of general labor tasks, including but not limited to: - Screwing down the floor system once the framing crew is completed - Checking on Tradesman to ensure schedule and quality control measures are being adhered to - General jobsite cleanup - Running supplies from the shop or supply house to the jobsite - Ensuring proper climate control for the stage of construction inside of the home - Cleaning the streets in front of the jobsite - Vacuuming prior to the installation of flooring - Installation of cabinet hardware, doorknobs, and towel bars - Filling nail holes - Adjusting doors - General punch out items - Other tasks as assigned The ideal candidate for this position is: - Capable of working efficiently with little direct supervision - Self-motivated - Has great time management skills - Can communicate well with coworkers and customers - Must have a valid drivers license - Candidate must be able to be on their feet most of the day, and lift a minimum of 50 lbs
