Welcome. This is a great opportunity for the right person. We're an original rock band, in our late 40s. We don't play out, nor are we looking to. No bars, no clubs, no weddings. We've already done that and we hope not to repeat it. There is no paycheck in this gig! Instead, we get together about once a month to work on our original material, and very occasional rock covers. We're in our mid-late 40s. Influences include The Who, Radiohead, The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Kinks, Cream. You get the idea... My home studio is fully equipped with a, PA System, 24 channel mixer, 8 track reel to reel, Logic Pro DAW software, and tons of fancy mics. Our focus is on creating great music and making the best recordings possible. (Picture The Beatles after they grew sick of being on the road). We have a lead guitarist who writes most of our material. He sings background and lead. We have a bass player who does not feel like singing, but can. We have a drummer who handles the recording, reluctantly sings harmonies and pays the mortgage on the rehearsal space. What we would like is a powerful, creative singer who can uplift our songs. We're flexible on the approach. A bonus would be the ability to play rhythm guitar and an interest in songwriting, or at the very least, a common interest in our type of music. Although our guitar player tends to write songs without collaboration, everyone's input is welcome in order to improve the original concepts. We get together once or twice a month, and it's always a good time. As I stated, we're a bit older so we're not looking for flakiness of any kind! Punctuality and professionalism are what you'll get from us. We show up on time, and we practice our parts on our own time so we can focus on performing when we're together.
