1. Position Purpose • To ensure traffic movement through the DG dock safely and efficiently. 2. Essential Functions & Principle Accountabilities • Ensure that shipments are released to the correct destinations • On hand new shipments to the dock • Ensure driver’s are not held at the dock for more than 30 minutes • Provide proper documentation for all outgoing shipments • Prevent accidents on the dock • Assist with DGG fork lift and vehicle maintenance • Assist with general functions, as assigned, in the DGG warehouse 3. Additional Responsibilities • Take responsibility for the safety of self and others at all times • Take responsibility to eliminate accidents, injuries & hazards at all times • Observe & act in accordance with all applicable laws & regulations & company policies • Other duties/projects as assigned • Be willing to help where needed in the warehouse and office to expedite shipments • Participate in & give input to dock processes 4.
