These stories never get less heartbreaking. At 10 years old, sweet Ella was found abandoned on the side of the road. Ella is described as shy but very sweet. She is spayed and weighs roughly 13lbs. She has now found herself at an overcrowded shelter and is being overlooked since most people want a younger dog. But her age doesn’t make her any less deserving of love and a home. We don't know how well trained she is, so she needs people who can be patient with her as she learns the house rules in a new home. Without a doubt she will return your patience with endless amounts of love. Ella shouldn’t be in a shelter sleeping on cold, hard concrete, so we are hoping to find a foster or adopter for her.
