Job Title Laborer Benefits: Paid Time Off Department Vegetation & Waste Management Job Summary • Performs tasks involving physical labor at residential or commercial building sites. • May be required to drive company vehicles to and from job sites. General Accountabilities • Responsible for loading and unloading tools and equipment for work day. • Operates various types of hand tools such as weedeaters, chainsaws, and polesaws. • Cleans and prepares site. • Digs trenches and holes. • Sets braces to support the sides of excavations. • Cleans site of all rubble, debris, waste and/or other materials. • May assist other craft workers. • Performs other duties as assigned or requested. • *The company reserves the right to add or change duties at any time. Job Qualifications • Education: High school diploma or equivalent • Experience: A few months to one year of related experience Skills • Active listening • Coordination • Operation monitoring • Reading comprehension • Social perceptiveness Comments Candidates are expected to be at the yard ready for work no later than 5:30am.
